Pinellas County is right next door to me. Boy, does this ever suck dirty swamp water! I am not a Ron Paul supporter, but I adamantly support the right to post political signs in support of ANY candidate. As I mentioned before, one day I saw a whole string of Ron Paul signs on our main road, but by the next day, someone had taken all of them down. This road is frequently used for campaign posters for various candidates, and they usually stay up until after elections. It irritates the heck out of me that a viable candidate of either party is censored like this.

Yes, it is absolutely wrong but it will continue to go on this way until people step up to the plate and take a stand against it. :)

Of all of the Republicans, I like Ron Paul the best, and yes, I have voted for a Republican for President in the past. I am not a die-hard anything, and vote for the person, not the party. McCain had a boat in yesterday's Gasparilla boat parade. I wondered who was aboard because it drew a lot of law enforcement vessels. I have a photo of the boat with the McCain banners across it, but the Picture Trail slideshow was limited to 18 pictures. Several Florida candidates were out there campaigning too. Why not? Thousands of boaters in one spot and no entry fees made this a cheap way to support a candidate!

Regardless of who you support, I am just very pleased that you make time to be proactive and stay involved! That is SOOOO important!
