I'm all icky because I am doing yard work and I am most definitely out of shape - too much in the middle with the winter buldge, yuck - but I thought this was cute! I realized I was wearing similar clothes to the avatar I created last night and asked my son to take a pic (sorry, camera phone, way poor quality).
Anyway, I thought it was a close resemblance!
OMG! I pulled this post from last year of me and Reilly and I am disgusted in myself! See below.
That is my summer body, the ones above are from today. Okay, that is enough of a motivator for me. It's time for me to get to work and get off my lazy arse! I'm serious. I'm hitting the activities. I'll take another pic in three weeks and we will see what has changed.
Oh, my gosh. I truly am feeling icky. I have been terribly lazy. Well, I've haven't had much energy.... Okay, enough. I'm motivated!

This reality attack (above photo comparisons) provided me with a bit of an insight to the psychology behind individuals who don't see the truth in any given situation. When I created that avatar, I really thought I looked similar (body) even though I knew I needed to tone up. BUT, when I saw for REAL - sheesh! - I knew I was just kidding myself all along. I now can see how people choose to see what they want to see rather than what is really there. I also can see how you hold on to more of what you were at one time rather than what you are currently and where you are at currently. This doesn't just apply to the physical side of things. In fact, I think it applies more to the mental side of things such as those who are in dead realionships and cannot let go because they are holding on to what once was. Or those who fall in love for what they want it to be rather than what it really is.
Hmmmmm....
