Craig Stebic will get back his truck that Plainfield police seized last year in their investigation into the disappearance
of his wife, Lisa, a Will County judge ruled Friday. Stebic's firearms,
which also were taken in May, will be handed over to a friend.
Judge Richard Schoenstedt said police must return Stebic's Chevrolet
S-10 by Monday. Stebic's 24 firearms will be turned over to his friend
Marco Aguilera Jr., who has a valid firearm owner's ID card. Illinois
State Police have revoked Stebic's card.
Craig Stebic's property was seized by police in the spring as possible evidence after his wife vanished April 30, 2007.
