Cubs announce ticket sales

So you missed getting any of the 15,000 tickets the Cubs offered for two potential first-round playoff games at Wrigley Field?

You still have the opportunity to buy tickets for the 2007 National League Championship Series.

The Cubs announced Monday that individual game tickets for the first three Wrigley Field games of that series will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Ticket prices will range from $50 to $145.

Tickets can be purchased by phone by calling (800) 843-2827 (for Illinois callers) and (866) 652-2827 (for out-of-state callers). Or log on to www.cubs.com.

  My year would be a failure if I couldn't make it to the ball yard 50 or 60 times. After Roberto Clemente died, there was nothing to see. By force of habit, I continued to attend even gauging business trips for when there was a home town stand. My seating standard was close to the diamond a spot where no one could pour beer on me.
  Drunks at ball parks should be shot.
