Firefighters battle blaze at Lockport hotel
A fire erupted at a hotel early Tuesday morning in southwest suburban Lockport, officials said.
Firefighters remained on the scene of the blaze at the Towpath Inn, 933
S. State St. Also housed within the hotel is the Dreams Restaurant and
Bar.
Further details, including whether there were any injuries, were unavailable.
Metra train service toward Chicago along the Heritage Corridor line was
canceled due to the blaze, which is located near the Lockport station.
