You raise two very valid points.
I am also interested in learning more about the new "Constitution Party" and the candidate they are running for President, Chuck Baldwin. Many Libertarians and Ron Paul supporters are backing this person.
I no longer "subcribe" to a party's beliefs though I am a registered Republican. I have no problem voting outside the party lines for the best candidate. At this point, from what I can see, the Republicans and the Democrats and all of their subcribers are cowards and have no sense of loyalty to the Constitution of the United States nor to the people of America and their individual and civil rights. That kind of abuse and neglect can only go so far. The evil they have perpetuated through their twisted perspectives and their blatant self centered positions will be the fall of our nation.
We are on the brink of collapse in a very big way. As I stated to our good buddy, Benedicts, in my Democrats and Republican Bandwagons post, we are already experienceing a food shortage in this country namely in New York City and Washing D.C. The rapant inflation decreasing the value of our dollar by unimaginable proportions has promted the cost of fuel to skyrocket against stagnant workman's wages. Inflation is the evil for our dollar is a worthless piece of paper. It's worse than worthless, is a bad note! The price of silver has remainded the same for 40 years. In 1971, an ounce of silver bought you a gallon of gasoline. Guess what? Today, an ounch of silver buys you a gallon of gasoline. Gas isn't rising, the dollar is failing, and failing FAST! 1971 is when the disasterous decision to no longer back our monetary system with gold and silver. Print, print, print more money and create faux economic booms which are destined to crash.
I've been predicting a full-blown depression for more than 7 years. When I first began to witness the ridiculous increases in the housing market, I knew that was the beginning of the end for a way of life in this country. There was no way such outrageous price appreciations could sustain themselves. It was a recipe for huge failure as we are experiencing now. Everyone said I was nuts and din't know what I was talking about. They said it will never happen. And, here we are.
We're going to war with Iran later this year, after the elections, when Israel decides to invade. Obama has pledge to the Zionists that he will do whatever it takes to protect israel from her enemies...whatever it takes. He pledged to war with Iran. This is the beginning of the end. Oh, it's certainly not going to be the end of the world, we're much stronger than that, but it is the beginning of the end of our way of life. We will suffer tremendously as an entire nation while those that created this mess will simply retreat to another country or whatever. It won't affect them personally because the cowards of this nation refuse to hold them accountable for their actions now. They are too busy playing power games with monopoly money to worry about such silliness.
The recent weather related disasters (research a little about HAARP, not just the collection of youtube videos but the real stuff by former experts who've worked on this project along with so many other weather manipulation systems, or what they are now calling weather "modification") will cripple our food supply and leave us to rely on imports that can be deadly. Just look at the recent tomato ordeal...those all came from Mexico. Did you hear about them being from Mexico? The food service people are well aware of where those came from but that information hasn't been supplied by the media to the public. NUTS.
We are more vulnerable than a baby rabbit in an open field with three Prairie Falcons circling above looking for their next meal.
Americans are lazy and terriblly apathetic. They have consumed themselves with foolish appetites and seek frivolous comforts and lack character and integrity. It's all about who can make more money or who has more power, who knows who and a slew of meaningless objectives. They are all cowards who think nothing of taking down the fellow American comrades - the ones the were elected to protect.
I recognize him now. I wasn't sure who Bob Barr was. I don't know much about him though.

I'm willing to accept that the connection between Bush's war on terror (which is being fought where there were no terrorists) and the increasing cost of oil is a mere coincidence. But I'm also gonna listen to those who feel there was method in the maniac's madness. Call me a conspiracy theorist. I've been called worse. One guy even called me a Republican. (Just kidding, Laura. Chain-yanking is a board game I play that's a shade less destructive than my other pasttime, stealing hubcaps.)
